scarecrow festival

Dan & I went to the scarecrow festival in the city of Trenton in between Conference Sessions today.  We have made a few friends from our ward and they were nice enough to invite us! After walking around the festival we took a walk to elizabeth park. It is really beginning look and feel like fall! All of the leaves are changing colors and it's freezing!

p.s. I start training for a new job tomorrow! I am SO excited!

fall beginnings

so its been getting really cold out.. in the 50's is pretty cold for me!

im starting to see the beginnings of fall everywhere outside, so i thought to bring some of it inside!

creative block

since i have moved to michigan i have had a serious artist block.

i haven't felt inspired or drawn into that consistent drive to create. i feel like it is slowly creeping back in so set up a special little corner in our spare bedroom just for my "stuff". im excited to see what i will come up with now. maybe i will finally finish my few paintings that i have been putting off for way too long.
